Free Shuttle to Grandi: New Route Launches

Getting to Reykjavík’s most exciting attractions just became even easier.

Lava Show, FlyOver Iceland, and Whales of Iceland are pleased to announce an updated Free Grandi Shuttle route, making it more convenient than ever for visitors to explore the Grandi District and enjoy three of Iceland’s top attractions in a single day.

The free shuttle connects central Reykjavík with the Grandi District and now includes additional hotel stops at Hilton Nordica and Reykjavík Grand Hotel, providing easier access for guests staying outside the downtown area.

New Grandi Shuttle Route & Schedule

The shuttle operates daily and serves the following stops:

• Bus Stop #1 – City Hall

• Hilton Nordica

• Reykjavík Grand Hotel

• Bus Stop #9 – Snorrabraut

• Bus Stop #5 – Harpa

• Bus Stop #4 – Miðbakki (Old Harbour)

• Lava Show

• FlyOver Iceland

• Whales of Iceland

The first departure leaves Bus Stop #1 at 11:00, with hourly departures throughout the day.

Please note that the final afternoon stops at Lava Show, FlyOver Iceland, and Whales of Iceland are for drop-off only.

Important Information for Hotel Pickups

Passengers boarding at Hilton Nordica and Reykjavík Grand Hotel must present a valid ticket for at least one of the participating attractions:

• Lava Show

• FlyOver Iceland

• Whales of Iceland

Guests may show either a digital or printed ticket when boarding the shuttle.

Passengers boarding at the public bus stops in downtown Reykjavík can continue to use the shuttle free of charge.
