2025 Was a Landmark Year at Lava Show — Here’s to 2026
As 2025 comes to a close, we look back on a truly remarkable year for Lava Show — a year defined by growth, connection, and unforgettable moments shared with guests and partners from around the world.
This year marked an important milestone in our journey. Not only did we welcome more guests than ever before, but we also strengthened relationships across the global travel industry, meeting partners face-to-face at key events and collaborating closely throughout the year. These personal connections continue to inspire everything we do and remind us that Lava Show is built on trust, shared passion, and a love for extraordinary experiences.

Expanded Reykjavík welcome area, featuring a brand-new gift store and comfortable seating
Expanded Vík location, now offering 65 seats in one of Iceland’s most popular South Coast stops
Launch of our new website

Looking Ahead to 2026
While we are proud of what we achieved in 2025, we are even more excited about what lies ahead.
In February 2026, we will open a brand-new showroom in Reykjavík, marking a major step forward for Lava Show. This expansion will allow us to welcome even more guests while creating new possibilities for tailored experiences and special events.
The new showroom will offer:
Increased show frequency and improved scheduling
Greater flexibility for private shows and VIP experiences
A distinctive and memorable venue for groups and special occasions
Seating for over 100 guests in the new showroom alone
With two showrooms in operation, our total seating capacity will exceed 200 guests, enabling us to serve travelers, partners, and groups year-round with even greater flexibility.

As we step into 2026, our mission remains the same: to offer the only experience in the world where guests can witness real molten lava flowing safely before their eyes — while learning about the powerful forces that shaped Iceland.
