Lava Show Featured on CBS Boston During Taste of Iceland

What an unforgettable moment for Lava Show in Boston! As part of the Taste of Iceland festival, we brought our portable lava furnace to WBZ | CBS Boston, where our very own Ragnhildur Ágústsdóttir – Lady Lava Lava – was interviewed by meteorologist Jacob Wycoff for a live morning TV segment.

Alongside Ragnhildur, Júlíus Jónsson and our Lava Masters – Maksymilian Kaczmarek and Piotr Słabik – fired up the furnace, melted rock to 2,000°F, and poured glowing lava right there in the studio. And yes… the lava flowed in Boston!

This special feature gave viewers across New England a taste of Iceland’s fiery nature and the only show in the world where you can see real molten lava up close.

Being part of Taste of Iceland Boston was an incredible experience, and we are proud to have shared the thrill of Icelandic volcanoes in such a dynamic city.
