One of the most extraordinary pieces we’ve ever created, the Dragon Glass Necklace is a true volcanic masterpiece. Its stainless steel frame holds a striking core of obsidian — a dark, glass-like lava material created by our founder, Júlíus Ingi Jónsson (“Mr. Lava”), by melting Icelandic rhyolite.

Because Iceland’s natural obsidian is strictly protected, this is the only obsidian legally available for purchase in the country, produced exclusively by Lava Show from locally sourced volcanic material. Rare, bold, and elemental — this necklace is unlike anything else in Iceland.
